Cattleya Ariel coerulea was first registered in 1915 by Sir Jeremiah Coleman. Its parents were C. bowringiana var. lilacina and C. gaskelliana var. coerulescens. Portia is a primary hybrid between Cattleya labiata and Guarianthe bowringiana that can put out over a dozen approximately 4 inch blooms to make a spectacular spray of flowers. This remake was made using coerulea parents and will come out with light coerulea colored sepals and petals and a dark coerulea lip. plants are well established in a 3" pot.

SKU: 13246 This remake of Cattleya Fitz Eugene has been turning out really nice with medium sized to compact plants compared to hall tall a Portia can get. These have flowers of better substance than C. Portia and the coerulea blue flowers have a heavenly sweet grape scent.
