Loom Potholder Instructions. Make sure that you have enough of both colors that you intend to use. Start with Color One (Red) on both ends and add the loops as every other until they meet in the middle, where there should be two Reds. My loom has 18 spokes, so spokes 9 & 10 should both be Color One-in this case, Red.

Crochet hook (to bind off) How to Weave a Potholder: Place the vertical loops first. The loops that run from top to bottom on the loom are called the warp. Begin with the first peg on the left. Place the loop around the first pegs at the top and bottom of your loom. (Be careful not to twist the loop.)

Potholder Loom Designs 140 Colorful Patterns

Lay out your potholders the way you want them seamed. Make sure that the they are all facing the same way and the "V" shaped edge stitches are all facing up along the sides. You should be able to line up the 18 "V" stitches evenly on both potholders. Start with a piece of yarn 3x the length of your seam.
